ABOUT ME!

HELLO!

My name is Meryem Köç. I am from Hatay however I have been living in Istanbul since 2014. I am a student in the department of English Language Teaching at Marmara University. This is my second time being a student in a college. The first time was eleven years ago. ( I know ı am old ) actually, I would never have imagined being a student again back then BUT ..LİFEE! You never know what is in store. What was I saying.. oh! Yess... I graduated from the Turkish Language and Literature... I worked two years as a teacher but completely out of my field because I could not be appointed as a teacher in my field..( sad story :/ ) then I got married and I had a kid ( who is almost five years old right now and his name is MAHMUD :) ) after I gave birth to my son I decided to do something for myself. I started to study English from scratch all by myself. Learning English and becoming a teacher was always my dream that I could not pursuit years ago. If there's something you've been dreaming of for a long time, you hold on tight, cling to it. At least it was the case for me. After studying for two years systematically finally I was in the department I wanted most. ( Thank God ). Even if being a mother, wife, and student at the same time is really hard and even if I sometimes have nervous breakdowns I never regretted. I am enjoying every minute of it as possible as I can!
