Today I will be talking about infographics. Well... What is an infographic? Even though it can be interpreted from its name, let's look at the dictionary again. According to the Cambridge Dictionary : 

 An infographic is a picture or diagram or a group of pictures or diagrams showing or explaining information.

Infographics use powerful visuals to easily and explicitly convey content. Infographics are a helpful way to interact visually because they capture our attention do not let go.

As a teacher candidate, I think this tool can be used to make students reach a clearer understanding. By using infographics we can make the content more memorable and students can engage with the information efficiently. Therefore this creates a more powerful and enjoyable learning environment.

This week's task was creating an infographic about online higher education in Turkey during the covid-19 pandemic. When did it start, what changes were made etc.? Our teacher asked us to provide some tips on how to succeed in online education as well. I used Canva for this task because it offers plenty of conveniences. It can be used for creating logos, posters, video montages, foto collages and we can do all of the things for free!
