CREATING A WEBQUEST!

Today I am going to talk about creating a WebQuest!

          

  What is a Webquest?

According to Bernie Dodge, a WebQuest is "an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the internet" If you are interested to learn more about to subject please click here. 

As you can interfere from the title this week's task was creating a Webquest for prep year students. I worked with my friend  Merve on this project. First, we decided on what topic we should choose in accordance with the book provided by our instructor. In the book provided there was a section named project me and the project was creating a presentation about a historic place in your city. We tried to make the project more technology-enhanced. We first chose the 5 most attractive places from Turkey. and provided them with relevant websites to explore and collect data about the places. To tackle the challenges, we have clarified each step in detail. Students were given the task of creating an infographic with Canva and then writing a message to a friend with some useful information to know before visiting Turkey. We gave students examples of infographics as well as a video demonstration on how to create an infographic.
